Director
Elliot is an acknowledged expert across Third Sector organisational structure, strategy and governance. He has deep expertise in risk management and a passion for ensuring great outcomes for beneficiaries, members and employees alike. Elliot has a number of senior charitable appointments and has worked with local, national and international charities. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was one of the first in the country to gain the prestigious Diploma in Charity Accounting
SUE THORN
Director
Sue brings to ITR a lifetime’s experience in charity governance, strategy and operational management, and in academic journal publishing. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, a past Chair of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers and past CEO of the Society for Endocrinology and its trading subsidiary, Bioscientifica. Sue provides advice on all aspects of running associations successfully, and specialises in governance, strategy and journal publishing. Sue has worked with associations in the UK, Europe and the USA. She also provides a VirtualCEO and Interim CEO service.
IAN CROCOMBE
Director
Ian brings vast experience and internationally recognised expertise of Process Excellence, Change Leadership, Continuous Improvement and People Development & Engagement gained in the corporate environment to the Third Sector.
He is a member of the Institute of Customer Service, the Institute of Financial Services and the Chartered Quality Institute with Customer Service and Operations degree level qualifications from Warwick Business School. He also has technical qualifications in Change Leadership, Lean Operations and 6 Sigma Improvement. He is a Trustee Board member for Age UK Gloucestershire and part of the UK Business Advisor network.
RACHEL HAYWARD
Associate
Following an exceptional career in HR, organisational development, new service development, bid writing and delivery in the private, voluntary and public sectors, Rachel particularly believes in the power of networking and connections, which has seen her winning awards such as the British Business Awards Micro Business of the Year 2022, East Midlands Chamber Female Entrepreneur 2021, FSB East Midlands Micro business award winner in 2020 and #SmallBiz100 as part of the Small Business Saturday campaign.
She is the MD of Ask the Chameleon Ltd, a specialist procurement consultancy and she has secured over £38m for her clients in funding, bids and numerous national, regional and local awards.
Rachel is a volunteer Area Lead for the Federation of Small Businesses in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, an associate lecturer and business coach at the University of Derby, member of the D2N2 LEP Business Growth Advisory Board and the Chair of Annabel's Angels, a Derby based trust supporting people undergoing treatment for cancer.

Ben Morrison is a trusted advisor to charities and senior leaders who want to maximise their incomes and develop their fundraising capabilities. Ben uses training, coaching, and mentoring, alongside his in-depth sector knowledge, hands-on experience, and successful track record to help charities raise more funds and to teach their professional and voluntary fundraisers to be more confident and successful. He is the Chair of Middlesex Student Union, a Director of the Association of Fundraising Consultants and was a judge for the 2020 National Fundraising Awards.
